The Journeys below are starting points, not fixed programmes. Every Zorani Journey is tailored to the specific client, including the dates, camps, time, and pace. These summaries show how the Mara fits within different trip structures and what a Mara Journey looks like at different lengths.

3-Day Masai Mara Journey
Who it suits: Clients with limited time, or those adding the Mara as a focused extension to a longer Africa trip.
Structure: Three nights in a conservancy camp, with game-drive timing set around recent conditions and the selected camp's operating model. A responsibly hosted cultural visit or balloon activity can be added only after its current format is verified. Air routing from Wilson Airport must be confirmed for the travel date.
What it delivers: A focused wildlife experience covering the Mara's core species, including lion, cheetah, and elephant, with the activities available in a conservancy setting. Not enough time to maximise the odds of a migration crossing, but sufficient for time in predator habitat.
Best combined with: A Nairobi city stop, a Tanzania extension, or a coast stay before or after.
5-Day Kenya Wildlife Journey
Who it suits: First-time Kenya visitors who want a clear, well-rounded introduction to two of Kenya's flagship ecosystems.
Structure: Three nights Masai Mara (conservancy), two nights Amboseli. Connect by air via Nairobi between parks.
What it delivers: Masai Mara predators and plains combined with Amboseli elephants and the Kilimanjaro landscape. Two very different characters within one compact itinerary.
7-Day Kenya Journey
Who it suits: Clients who want more depth through either greater time in the Mara or a third park added for species variety.
Option A: Five nights Masai Mara (split between two conservancy camps) plus two nights Amboseli. Option B: Four nights Masai Mara plus three nights Laikipia (for rhino, wild dog, and a different terrain).
What it delivers: Enough time in the Mara for a higher probability of migration crossings (if in season), a deeper experience of conservancy life, and a meaningful second destination for contrast.
Masai Mara and Amboseli Journey
Who it suits: Clients who want both the Mara's predator story and Amboseli's elephant and Kilimanjaro experience within a clear, manageable trip.
Structure: Four nights Masai Mara, three nights Amboseli. Eight to ten days total including travel days.
What it delivers: A confident introduction to Kenya's two most distinctive ecosystems, clearly contrasted and logistically clean.
Masai Mara and Diani Beach Journey
Who it suits: Couples and families who want wildlife followed by beach relaxation. One of the most reliable Kenya trip structures.
Structure: Four nights Masai Mara, four nights Diani Beach. Connect via Wilson Airport to Ukunda Airstrip.
What it delivers: The Mara at its full depth, followed by the Indian Ocean coast. Diani's reef, water sports, and beach hotels provide a natural contrast to the bush. Logistically clean.
Masai Mara and Gorilla Trekking Journey
Who it suits: Clients who want to combine Kenya's wildlife plains with Uganda or Rwanda's primate experience.
Structure: Three nights Masai Mara, travel day via Nairobi, two to three nights Uganda (Bwindi) or Rwanda (Volcanoes NP).
What it delivers: Two of Africa's most distinct wildlife experiences: the open-plain predator habitat of the Mara and the mountain gorilla encounter in the forest. This combination is less often assembled than a single-country Journey but rewards clients who want genuine contrast.
Kenya and Tanzania Journey
Who it suits: Clients with ten to fourteen days who want the Great Migration in full context, or a comprehensive East Africa wildlife circuit.
Structure: Three to four nights Masai Mara, then fly south to the Serengeti (or via Kilimanjaro Airport). Add Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and/or Zanzibar depending on duration.
What it delivers: The same migration ecosystem viewed from both countries, with the dramatically different landscape of the Ngorongoro Crater and the dry-season elephant country of Tarangire extending the wildlife range. A complete East Africa journey for clients with the time.
