Journey Overview

Uganda is a birder’s paradise — where East Africa’s savannah species meet Central Africa’s rainforest endemics. This 10-day birding safari takes you from papyrus swamps and crater lakes to the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth and the rainforests of Kibale and Bwindi.

Highlights include searching for the elusive shoebill stork, tracking colourful forest endemics like the African green broadbill and Rwenzori turaco, and cruising the Nile and Kazinga Channel for waterbirds. With expert birding guides and carefully chosen habitats, you’ll tick off hundreds of species while also enjoying Uganda’s classic wildlife.

It’s a well-paced adventure for both passionate birders and nature lovers.
