Rwakobo Rock
About Rwakobo Rock
Rwakobo Rock is a family-run lodge set on a granite outcrop at the edge of Lake Mburo National Park. Private thatched cottages are placed around the hill to use natural ledges, views and secluded corners, while the five-bedroom Hornbill House provides a simpler room-based alternative. Solar power, solar water heating, rainwater collection and solar refrigeration support the lodge’s low-impact approach. The restaurant overlooks a watering hole visited by animals such as zebra, impala and warthog, and the pool looks across the ranchlands and park. With the park entrance around five minutes away, guests can combine drives with guided walks, cycling and Bahima cultural experiences.
