Haven Lodge

Haven Lodge is a community-run lodge in Buhoma at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It offers cottage-style accommodations — eight twin/double cottages and one family unit — built of wood and stone. Each cottage has a private bath and veranda with views of the rainforest. Common areas include a dining hall with a fireplace and an open-air terrace. The lodge's convenient location is minutes from the gorilla trekking trailhead. It is managed by the Buhoma community association, and its profits support local conservation projects. The style is basic but tidy and respectful of the forest setting. Haven Lodge provides clean, calm comfort in a modest package, well suited for visitors who value authenticity over luxury.
