Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge occupies a 300-acre private area beside Lake Burunge, overlooking the wider Tarangire landscape. Its 30-room inventory comprises 20 double tents and 10 bungalows, giving it a mix of canvas accommodation and larger options for families or groups. Rooms include both air-conditioning and fans. The central mess area contains lounges, a restaurant and a 25-by-8-metre swimming pool, while terraces and a campfire support outdoor time at sunset. The operator places the lodge around 19 kilometres from Tarangire’s Sangaiwe Gate and 35 kilometres from Lake Manyara National Park. Guided walks to the lake and arranged sundowners can add variety between conventional vehicle-based safari days.
