Kitela Lodge

Kitela Lodge is set on a farm near Karatu, below the Ngorongoro Highlands. Twenty chalet-style rooms face towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and include en-suite bathrooms, sitting space and fireplaces suited to the cooler highland evenings. Four interconnecting combinations support family stays. The lodge has a swimming pool, internet access and an African spa, while guided walks explore the farm, vegetable gardens and nearby highland paths. Its landscaped, agricultural setting provides a quieter alternative to staying directly in Karatu while retaining convenient access to Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
