About Samburu Intrepids

Samburu Intrepids is a tented camp on the Uaso Nyiro River inside Samburu Game Reserve. Raised decks and riverside forest provide shade and views towards the water, where elephants and crocodiles may sometimes be seen. Renovated tents use four-poster king beds, while the camp’s open-sided vehicles support game viewing in both Samburu and neighbouring Buffalo Springs. Cultural programmes introduce guests to neighbouring Samburu communities, and clear equatorial skies form the basis of astronomy activities. The camp also has an established children’s club focused on wildlife and cultural learning. It is a good option for families or first-time visitors who value structured guiding and several activities within one stay.
