Kyaninga Lodge

Kyaninga Lodge rises above Lake Kyaninga near Fort Portal, with the Rwenzori Mountains visible beyond the crater landscape. Nine raised cottages are connected to the main lodge by a wooden walkway and spaced to preserve privacy. Each opens onto a private deck and combines hand-crafted local materials with a freestanding bath, glass-walled shower and solar power. Guests can swim in the lodge pool or the crater lake, follow guided walks through the forest and arrange treatments at the wellness centre. The kitchen draws produce from its own garden. A stay also supports the lodge’s long-running education, mobility and rehabilitation projects for children with disabilities in the region.
